militant, but i agree with his basic principle. I do think its stupid that someone would need to be shot over stealing something worth so little, but that person should not be putting themselves in that situation. Also we can blame our fucked up legal system for the fact that is actually better for the shooter to kill the person committing the crime than it is just to put one in their leg and wait for the police to come get him. I would gladly let someone learn their lesson by immobilizing them by means of a non-fatal shot and letting the legal system handle it, but that means now this man can go to court and lie about how it was all my fault and then decides to sue me for damages and put me in the poor house for the rest of my life. When talking about a set of heads it sounds stupid, but what is not a big deal to you could be 6 months of savings to another, and frankly we cant just play the let the person just get away with it game. Rolling over is how we have gotten to this point.
